How we handle enquiries and optional website analytics.
Enquiries
Information submitted through the briefing form is sent directly to Acuity Maritime's server. The server stores a copy of the lead record and attempts to email the enquiry to digitalservices@acuitymaritime.com. The form is not routed through a third-party form-processing service.
Information collected
The enquiry form collects your name, email address and message, with optional phone and organisation details. It also records the selected service and available advertising or campaign parameters.
Purpose
The information is used to review the enquiry, check fit and potential conflicts, respond to you, understand how the website is generating enquiries and manage any later engagement if one is agreed.
Initial enquiry only
Submitting the form does not create an engagement, legal relationship or expert-client relationship. Scope, independence, conflicts, instructions and terms must be agreed separately.
Optional website analytics
If you allow analytics, we record page visits, button actions, scroll depth, visible-tab time and progress through the enquiry form. A random browser-session identifier connects actions during a visit. We record a broad traffic-source label and device-size category, not your typed messages, name, email address, phone number, full page URL or IP address in these analytics records. The records are stored on Acuity's server, protected from public access and retained for up to 30 days.
You can decline analytics and still use the website and enquiry form. This analytics tracker also respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Separate advertising conversion tracking may report enquiry events to OpenAI.
